New Menu Tonight!

Hey Sidecar fans!  Chef John has created a new and fabulous menu for you.  Come on in and try one of each… you know you want to!  Be sure to check out the farmers and ranchers we feature.  You can find most of them at one of SLO’s local farmer’s markets.  Tell them we sent you!

Soup
Pumpkin, sage, smoked fat, Gopher Glen apple creme fraiche. $6

Appetizer
Pork and foie gras terrine: pickled calamondin lemons, wild mushroom escabeche, grilled bread. $10

Yellowtail crudo: celery leaf salsa, de arbol chili, pea tendrils, watermelon radish. $10

Fried brussels sprouts, pig fat aioli, bleu cheese, saba, thyme. $8

Salad

Lacinato kale, pistachio, pomegranate, fuyu persimmon, sage honey vinaigrette. $8

Burrata, rapini, orange sesame ash, pickled oyster mushrooms, fennel top pesto, black mustard “caviar.” $10

Entrée

Sidecar Burger:  Hearst Ranch beef, blackberry chili aioli, fig marmalade, smoked mozzarella cheese and local lettuces. $12

Herb marinated chicken, autumn panzanella salad, quince apple mostarda. $18

Vadouvan cauliflower risotto, heirloom carrots, earl grey black currants, capers, pea tendrils, and fried parsnips. $18

Rustic fish stew: opah, littleneck clams, smoked olives, house sausage, saffron and dill. $21

Dessert

Pear and almond frangipane tart with house earl grey ice cream. $8
